Tamarack was our first race since the Pandemic. Strange times for sure, but was able to get on the Podium with a 3rd Place.
Windrock was Awesome. First time racing this course, and we were luck that the weather held out this year. Took a 3rd after a rough Practice crash.
The US Open was amazing. I got to Race Kyle Strait in Dual Slalom, and kept it pretty close. In Downhill was able to get on the Podium with a 2nd place.
Wow….What a week. Took a National Championship in the Dual Slalom and the Downhill.
2020 has been a crazy year with this Pandemic around the world. We were able to get some racing in before the Pandemic, and were able to get in a National in Tamarack, that had a Covid-19 based schedule…Sort of.
However, I did get to a couple new tracks that I had not been to yet. Had some good results and was able to get on the Podium at both USA Cycling Downhill Nationals this year. Hopefully the World opens up soon, so we can get some racing in. I am going to be racing for Lindsey Wilson College for the next few years, and am really looking forward to that. The Collegiate Race Schedule is going to be a new experience.
