The Fox US OPEN of Downhill came West for 2019 to my Home Track. Snow Summit, Big Bear, CA. They held the Downhill on the newly designed course they call 10-Ply. It’s a beast.
I raced both Dual Slalom and Downhill on the weekend. In the Dual Slalom race I made it through the first rounds and then got the chance to line up and Race Kyle Strait. He beat me…don’t get me wrong, But I was able to show great speed until I made a small mistake in the first run. The second run was better and I was able to really keep I close. Come on now…Kyle Strait vs. Adam Durbin. Can’t wait to do it again.
